HAILE SELASSIE HIGH SCHOOL JAMAICA

I was hesitant to go to the inner city of Payne land in Kingston but decided the work was more positive than my fears. I met with the students who warmly received me. To my surprise, and unlike the popular notions about that community, the students are talented, academically sound, and ready for the subsequent phases of their lives. Some have already started their biz inside their communities and are brilliant at expressing themselves. I enjoyed my time there. I already shared this video on social media, and it’s made its rounds and impact. . It was taken on Monday during the initial phases of tropical storm Lisa before it turned away from Jamaica. So I wonder, what would a heavier storm can do you this building?. I am sharing it with you today. Please watch it. If you’re from the area, it’s time to do something for the children.
