INTROSPECTION: A New Day, a New Way
I feel I’ve been locked away so long. No parties, no friends (physical presence), no visits. However, I have new appreciation for ducks, water, lizards, sunrise, sunset, sky, clouds, windows in buildings, looks on faces of walkers-by. I am forced to see them hear them, and appreciated their existence as I walk daily.
I haven't cooked, but I've learned how to stay at home and be friendly with the furniture. Take closer looks at my paintings (before, they were just pretty. Now, as we become friends, the play music and tell a stories)
As for trees, they are beautiful to walk by. The trunks, the barks, stems, the branches, the leaves, their color, how the leaves blow in the wind, the roots above ground, and I can’t ignore the squirel that runs up and down the stems and branches of trees playing "Mr. Lonely.
Every little mold in nature that I never saw is now a mountain. Have they all been there before?.
Thanks to COVID, I am seeing more than I saw before. I am learning more than I've learned before. I am hearing more than I've heard before.
A new day is dawning, a new era, and newlife to discover. I am ready. You?
